Is it only Thursday you make gluten free pizza?

Hi, Debbie. Thank you for your comment.

As of now, Thursday is the only night we make our gluten-free pizzas.

We look forward to your business!

        hi,
Will you consider doing the glute-free crust on other nights as well? I would definitely be interested in that and others I know would also. It’s hard to always plan a thursday night around the pizza as it doesn’t always work out when. Weekends of course are the best as that is when my friends and I usually order pizza (not on Thursdays as I’m usually not out that night with my friends).
        Thanks

        Hi, Pat.

We have indeed considered it. We tried offering a poll on alternate gluten-free pizza nights and no one participated in the poll. Weekends are not the best option for us, I’m afraid, as these are our busiest times, and adding GF into the mix would complicate them further. This is why we have left GF night on a slower night. We’re open to that night being one other than Thursday (such as Monday-Wednesday), but it appears that might not work well for you, either.

If you buy one and refrigerate it, you could reheat it on Friday night. Not the same as getting it fresh out of the oven, but it is an option you probably wouldn’t consider if GF night was earlier in the week.

It is possible that in a future location with higher traffic levels it will make financial sense for us to offer GF crusts (if not GF pizzas) every day. We will always be looking to increase our options in sustainable ways, so stay tuned!

I absolutely love Peace O’ Pie. I absolutely cannot wait to celebrate my moving to Boston with a night out at PO’P. I have no desire to eat any other pizza. Your cupcakes are absolutely amazing.

How far do you go for delivery? I want to order so badly!! But, I live in Grafton. I’ll be willing to give tips and pay the $2. Thanks!

Our delivery zone is shown on our Delivery page. Grafton appears to be far, far outside our delivery zone!

For standard deliveries, we only deliver within our 2 delivery zones. For catering orders, we negotiate delivering elsewhere within the Boston metro area (additional delivery fees may apply), but we do not delivery outside of Boston.

This is such a great idea! Thank you bringing this restaurant to the Allston-Brighton area. Being lactose intolerant, I have gone over several years without enjoying my favorite comfort food. But that’s all about to change… Thanks!

P.S. I found your business through the Bicycle Benefits website.

Your website lists Wednesday lunch specials, but nobody’s answering the phone for us to place an order for pickup? Having just watched the pizza slide show it’s going to be hard to wait! Plus we have out of towners staying with us for just a short while so we wanted to introduce them to the wonders of Peace O’ Pie! Thanks!

Yummmm. Stopped by for a few slices o’ the day last Monday and whoever was working at the counter recommended “the MD.” Excellent life decision! Do you make your own “sausage” it’s fantastic. And the zucchini was an absurdly good combo.

so you have any soy & gluten free pizza?? I have an allergy to both.. (lucky me!)

    • veganpizza permalink*
      December 8, 2010 3:24 pm

      Hi, Kate.

Our gluten-free crust and the Daiya cheese are soy-free. To avoid soy toppings, stay clear of tempeh, pepperoni, Canadian Bacon, and so forth. The Field Roast Apple Sage Sausage is soy-free.

      • March 14, 2011 4:06 pm

Thanks for filling me in on the soy products to avoid as well as the dairy.

I have mild allergies to eggs too… is there a lot of egg in the crust or other additives?

        Thanks, Steve

Steve, as a 100% vegan restaurant, there are no egg products anywhere in our restaurant.

I’m visiting from out of town and I ordered through Foodler in order to get it delivered to my hotel. I was not able to order any delicious desserts though, I realize there’s possibly not always the same selection available…but I would kill (ok, not really) for some vegan desserts right now. Being able to order that through Foodler would have made me one happy vegan.

    • veganpizza permalink*
      March 1, 2011 9:51 pm

Hi, Chris. It’s tricky with Foodler because our desserts change daily. I’m looking into whether they can set up generic items under a desserts category with a note to check our Facebook page for the current dessert of the day. Maybe that will help. In the meantime, our friends at Foodler are eager to make sure you’re happy.

Meantime, we hope you enjoyed your pizza!

I just learned about you through Groupon and bought today’s offer. I have celiac and am vegan (at the moment – read the blog) and this is a dream come true! I am curious as to whether you have gluten free beer and which desserts are also gluten free. See you on Thursdays!

      March 14, 2011 12:10 pm

Thank you for purchasing our offer. We are delighted to have you come in and try us out. I am confident you will enjoy our gluten-free pizza (I am a personal fan). Regrettably, we do not have beer. Getting a license is out of our reach. Also, we don’t have any fresh-baked gluten-free desserts, but we do have gluten-free Liz Lovely cookies.

  13. March 14, 2011 4:18 pm

I just tried to buy my groupon and was about to pass it to friends… The site is acting strangely though, and it seems to be that the Groupon is sold out already…?

I would have sent some of my massage and Cranioacral Therapy clients there too.

    Any suggestions? I’m bummed…

    Thanks, Steve

Hi, Steve. Once Groupon closes the deal, it’s closed. It did just close, so that may explain the weirdness you encountered.

      Glad you heard of us!

We’re not 100% nut-free, though we can avoid nuts for you, if you like. Please let the cashier know when ordering, and our pizza chef will scrupulously avoid using or making contact with nuts in the preparation of your pizza. If you need more detail, please call the shop and ask for the general manager: (617) 787-9884.

      Thank you.

Just wanted to let you know New York didn’t forget you guys. My husband and I remembered your down to earth hospitality last year. I wrote a review on Yelp about our favorite spot in Boston. Now that the snow has melted here, we are planning our yearly trip to Boston soon. Your Pizza and baked goods are the best! Peace O’ Pie is my Peace O’ Heaven. Thanks for giving me a place to finally enjoy great vegan pizzas in Boston. No one comes close to your great food and your down to earth hospitality. I give you two thumbs up and then some:)

    Hi!

Your pizza is delicious but I’m so sad to see GF thursdays have been suspended. :-( Do you know when you’ll be making gluten-free crusts again? Also- do you know if your gluten-free crust recipe contains potato starch? (Along with dairy, gluten and soy I also have a potato intolerance… go figure…)

    Thank you!!

Hi, Amy. We are sorry for the inconvenience, though we do use potato starch, so that wouldn’t work for you, sadly. We really don’t know when we’ll be able to make GF crusts available again. We will definitely be posting the information publicly and widely if and when that happens.

Is your ranch dipping sauce going to be available all the time? I love dipping my pizza in ranch! I’ve been stopping by Grasshopper on my way to Peace O’ Pie to get some of their salad dressing. It would be awesome not have to make that pit stop anymore.

Hi Heather. We can’t say that it will be available all the time. However we always have a variety of sauces available, including garlic aioli, chipotle aioli, buffalo, and BBQ sauce.
